Chad is back! If you noticed the volume level was turned up to 11, you may have also noticed our multi-colored drummer was back in the saddle. No amount of plexi-glass can contain what is Chad. He is heading back out on the road again this Friday, and he will be in the UK and Japan for the next couple weeks, so if you think of it, pray for him.

We started the morning with a bit of live music - usually we do a pre-service instrumental, but today we added a song from the band By the Tree called "Hold You High." It was a fun, loud song to start the morning with, and it definitely signaled the start of the service to all the coffee drinkers.

Here are the rest of the songs we sang this week:
Famous One, Chris Tomlin
Rock of Ages You Will Stand, Paul Baloche
You Never Let Go, Matt Redman
I Cling to the Cross, Paul Baloche
Great Is Thy Faithfulness, as recorded by Lincoln Brewster

Gretna Days! Hopefully you all had a great weekend, and if you missed Phil in the dunk tank, well then you missed it.

We had several new faces in the band this week, along with probably the most difficult slew of songs I've thrown at them yet. They did great!

Our God Reigns
- Brandon Heath
On Christ the Solid Rock - arr. Charlie Hall
Rock of Ages You Will Stand - Paul Baloche
God You Reign - Lincoln Brewster
Whole World in His Hands - Tim Hughes (Casting Pearls/Vota also covered this song)
O Sing the Greatness - Fanny Crosby/David Potter

This week was the first Sunday of a new series: Hello! My Name Is: God. The series will focus on who God is using a different Psalm each week. This week's Psalm was Psalm 103, which happens to be one of my favorites.

Here are the songs we sang this week:
Our God Saves, Paul Baloche
You Are Good, Lincoln Brewster (originally written/recorded by Israel Houghton and New Breed)
This Is Our God, Chris Tomlin
You Are the One, David Potter (David leads worship at Christ Community Church in Omaha and is a good friend of mine)
You Have Been So Good, Paul Baloche

By popular request, I am posting the songs and artists and (whenever possible) an iTunes link to the songs we sing each Sunday. I hope this helps you worship God throughout the week! The bible says "whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." Let everything you do be worship, and let these songs draw you closer to our Lord.

This week was an acoustic setup with Cody on acoustic guitar, Tony on the Cajon (hand drum), and Louise on vocals. It was fun to scale the band back and hear more of Journey's voices!
